Squash the Chaos

Volume 1, Number 3

Hello so happy to see you.

Did you have a good week? Mine was a bit hectic, but still wonderful.

Last week was a great one for me. Firstly, I got my mammogram results, and they were good. It was a big relief, and I was very happy about it. Secondly, my baby turned 26, and we celebrated by having a birthday party at a food truck lot. Everybody got to choose their favorite food truck, but unfortunately, there was a storm, and some of the trucks were closed. Nevertheless, we still managed to get some yummy treats, and then we went back home and watched my daughter's favorite movie.

In addition to these happy moments, I also made a lot of progress with Making Life Lovely. I worked on designing my Instagram highlight bubbles and finished my milkshake page. I also created a cool ice cream sign for my job. Finally, I found out that the strawberry truck will be coming back on March 30th, and I'm excited to get my hands on two flats of delicious strawberries.

A photo of my baby.

This week, my oldest daughter turned twenty-six. When she was born, we were unsure whether she would survive her first year. You can read about the reasons for our skepticism in my post titled The Truth About Shaken Baby Syndrome: What You Need to Know

As a new mother at the age of twenty-four, this tragedy turned my world upside-down. Once the situation calmed down, I realized I had two choices in life: to be happy or to be miserable. I chose happiness and never looked back. Being miserable is not enjoyable. Life is not easy; it's like a rollercoaster ride full of unexpected twists and turns. Just when you think you have everything figured out, you get hit with a surprise. My best advice is to buckle up and enjoy the ride.

Weekly quote….

YUMMO - Food Truck Birthday Party

Where we live there is a food truck lot that has a large variety of food trucks, and so we thought we would have a food truck party. The idea was that I would give everyone a little $$ so they could pick their truck and order whatever food they would like. I picked a hibachi-style cuisine that was most scrumptious.

FUN PHOTOS

Here are some fun pics of my ice cream sign. It was kinda tricky it was I believe a piece of plastic siding. I worked really hard on it, I hope you like it.
