Making Life Lovely
Volume 1, Number 9
Konnichiwa.
I hope this week’s newsletter finds you in happy spirits.
I have been busy behind the scenes trying to figure out the best ways to run Making Life Lovely. Truth is I have been flying by the seat of my pants and so I really felt I needed to regroup and set some systems into place, In essence I am trying to learn those things that will make Making Life Lovely run smoother and just be better. It is always my goal to make Making Life Lovely better. :) My new goal is to have Squash the Chaos in your inbox Sunday afternoons.
Weekly Focus
If I could confess I have not been feeling up to snuff lately. I feel tired and achy and could fall asleep if I sit still. So much so I googled it, and my google diagnois is either I have a bunch of different crazy diseases (which I am going to say ain’t no way and not even think of those) or I could work on exercising, nutrition, and stuff like that. I have been working on these but one that stuck out to me was caffeine. It said it caffeine can actually make you tired. I go through phases. I had completly quit soda for probably over a decade and then when I became a full time student, worked over night as a hotel auditor, a graphic designer during the day and still did mom stuff, and everything was an hourish drive away. I started drinking soda to stay awake.
I kind of stopped drinking soda. Then I started at my current job where we are allowed unlimited soda. To be honest I have been consuming more than I should believing it would make me happy and keep me awake. I fear it is not doing either. I have survived the last two days soda free so I know it is doable! My new physical goal is to focus on stop drinking soda. What is one small step you could take to become a healthy happier you? You got this!

YUMMY - For Mother’s Day we got out the Nerdy Nummies
One of our favorite things to do is to get out our Nerdy Nummies. A Nerdy Nummies is a melting pot that is super easy to use. We put almond bark chocolate inside and turn it on and that is when the magic begins. The chocolate melts perfectly and then we dip in lots of fun goodies. Right now we love strawberries, pretzels, marshmallows, oreos and bananas. You simply dip them in and then set them out to harden if you can wait that long. Our Nerdy Nummie is super easy to clean too.
I found ours at at a thrift store and we have used it tons for parties or just because. You can find the Nerdy Nummies on Amazon.
For a church auction fundraiser for camp.
